Yea Android in the US is doing very well but you know me. I'm a business guy. Android is making no money since they give it away and I'm a profit guy.
I would never say that about anything. You don't know what you don't know (see 5 Orders of Ignorance) and I didn't know I needed a Wait Time app for Disneyland til I was there.

On the Windows 7 phone front. A lot of very impressed people are sharing their thoughts on the nets. We'll have to see the go to market plan and if/when it gets jail broken.

The #1 thing I like about Android is the #1 thing I've liked about WinMo; It gives me control over the device. I can do pretty much anything I want with both, it seems. #2 would be the apps. I haven't really experienced apps to any significant degree so it's a whole new world of awesome. The HD2 really is amazing. I'm still not sold on capacitive touch screens tho. They're nice but it bugs not being able to make precise selections. I'm sure I'll get used to it. Exchange sync works like a beauty, that makes the move even more easy. I'm still working out some hardware issues though. Since it's a windows phone it can't boot Android through NAND, I load windows first then run Android which kills WinMo OS but keeps the hardware layer running and boots Android on top of it. Small things like minor screen freezes, some other driver issues are still being worked out. Android development for it has a decent crowd though and it is an HTC device so there is a HUGE following and base for it on xda-developers.com So my semi-final verdict remains pretty much the same as it was before using it; It's like a refresh of everything I love about the current Windows Mobile + an app store with apps worth a crap. Despite the crappy data speeds, I've def come to the conclusion that it's a keeper. As far as WinMo 7 goes, I've said it before, it will be a great competitor for the iPhone crowd. It's taken everything I know and love about WinMo and killed it. They are going to tightly manage WinMo7 as much as they can (like Apple does with the iPhone). That way they manage the user experience. However, I am VERY excited to see the kind of hardware that will be a result of WinMo7.. dual core 1+ghz processor power in your pocket!!!?!?! !?/ The real battle will be what happens to Android once the iPhone and WinMo7 are out on every carrier. I just can't see this OS in any different light than that of the previous WinMo crowd. It's just not an OS many normals will use and love like I think there are too many ways to mess it up if the normals start toying too much. -of course, I'm not giving the normals any credit here. I don't like that. So unless they come out with some seriously awesome hacks for it I'll be sticking with Android. Because afterall, it really is the new WinMo for me.

Because to many types of hardware has historically been a problem in the IT world?

So. I just want to say this again.. I heart Android.
The builds for the HD2 coming out are solid with what looks like all the bugs squashed. I love my phone so much that I'm keeping it even though I have no 3G with it on AT&T's network.
I poopood the 4 inch screen phones before i had one in hand and now, I can't go back to the puny screens. I heart Android, hard.

Holy CRAP yes!! Thank you again, my friend. Seriously, this phone (the HTC HD2) is chalk full of awesome! I owe you BIG time, no joke. The HD2 is very similar to the EVO which is VERY similar to the new HTC flagship WinPhone7 HD7 which means that it is very likely I'll be able to run Phone7 along with WinMo and Android. It runs Android so smooth, you'd never guess it was running form the SD card. It's truly an amazing piece of hardware and I have it only thanks to The Always-Awesome Slim!
