Okay, let's work this out logically without a lot of emotion. If you vote for Obama.... You get this..... But if you vote for McCain.... You get this... I don't know about you guys, but looking at this in a logical manner, McCain appears to be the better candidate. ANY QUESTIONS?

No wonder there was a raise in the McCain vote this past week, that email was sent out...

Drill, Drill, DrillIf you think that article is TLDR worthy, "If the Polar Bears don't move you to go and do everything in your power to get Obama elected then consider the chant that filled the hall after Palin spoke at the RNC, "Drill Drill Drill." I think of teeth when I think of drills. I think of rape. I think of destruction. I think of domination. I think of military exercises that force mindless repetition, emptying the brain of analysis, doubt, ambiguity or dissent. I think of pain."

I think its awesome, Bush was the guy you would have a beer with. Palin is the gal you would buy a beer. McCain gets all the old people who are the majority of people that still vote. They def know how to market to popular america. Repubs win again.
Polar bears and tree huggers and slide show presenters are too small a demographic, sorry obaama.

The Democrats are moving too far left (thanks, Moveon.org!). There are a lot of traditionally 'Democrat' platforms that I could agree with, but the Democrats are moving out of the realm of reason and are becoming stupidly liberal - they're swerving further left than Michael Moore wearing an eyepatch while pushing a defective shopping cart.
I think Lieberman is a great example: in the course of eight years he has gone from being Al Gore's running mate to an Independent Senator to stumping for McCain (and nearly being picked as the McCain's running mate!)
Has Lieberman - a 66 year old man - changed so much since 2000? Hardly. The party is moving further left, and Joe is in the same spot he has always been - he's just decided not to run blindly with party lines (admittedly, the Democrats didn't support him in his Senate re-election bid and chose someone else, so he ran and won as an Independent).
The only thing worse than a rich, hypocritical, clueless Republican is a rich, hypocritical, clueless Democrat.

So - healthcare. It's just getting more and more expensive. One thing that occurred to me recently is that health insurance is the only insurance that pays for little bits of everything. Car insurance doesn't pay for maintenance work on your car, it only pays for bigger things like wrecks. Same kind of thing with homeowners insurance.
Would it be cost-saving for most people if health insurance didn't pay for every little thing and just the big stuff? I honestly think the 'Health Insurance / Malpractice Insurance' cycle is what is causing a lot of problems with health care costs.

If the gov't considered people its most valuable resource it would take care of them (its not socialism its survivalism). Not a corporation of capitalist pigs, you really trust your life with people who are only after money? Yea you are, and life only happens once, no respawn. Honestly they don't really care about people dying from cancer nor do they give a shit about how much it costs to try and save you, just if they get paid, or sued by malpractice. Know of a doctor in america etc that got into the business to help people as his one goal? Nope you don't, those doctors are all over in Africa helping save one life while 1000 die, and getting no money for it. I made all of that shit up, but it sounded good. /grainofsalt /ginger /garlic /wrists

I'd even say some doctors are indifferent and just want money. Most, I would say, do care. Medicine, although expensive for us, is not that profitable for doctors anymore. The doctors who just want money have become lawyers or gone to business school. Really.
