Ok so I gave the WWS
wowwebstats.com/dt3aowre5mlim to some friends at work that have given me a lot of help on gear, raids etc and I trust their opinion like I do everyone here. They posted the WWS on their guild forum to get some ideas on what we need to do. Below is the results. Some things to keep in mind. These people don't know us (cept roach) their opinions are just their opinions so no hurt feelings we'll all ultimately gear and play our toons how we want. However this guild farms Kara and above so they have been there.

Based on gear alone, sheesh.
Missing enchants, missing gems, poor talent choices. (Resto Shaman w/o Nature's Swiftness?)
It seems the gear of the healers is significantly above the gear of the dps.
The top DPS (druid) really doesn't have that spectacular of gear but put out a lot of damage. Both warlocks are specced destruction, and speaking from experience on Wahrheit, if you don't have the gear for destruction (T5/T6 w/ 202 +Hit), don't bother. Go affliction, or demo if you suck at keeping dots up. KZ is the time when casters destroy melee generally, and enh shaman should generally beat a druid. So with dps results like this, somethings wonky.
Lots of caster DPS below hit cap too.
Back to the fight, I'm guessing that they're just running out of steam since they all have roughly the same presence, so that means either the tank went down or the healers ran out of mana.
Does any of my rambling help? heh.

Their tank took 16 crushing blows, ask him to use his shield block button

Well, something I noticed is that their resto shaman is using lesser healing wave 100% of the time on that last prince fight, and overall is using lesser healing wave 63% while only using chain heal 17% of the time during the entire Kara run. That is definatly a no no.
Lesser Healing Wave is highly mana inefficient for little healing. What's worse is that it has a low +healing coefficient making it a terrible heal to use. In the prince fight he is spamming a heal that drains him of mana quickly while providing crappy healing.
Lesser healing wave should only be used as an emergency heal and should not even take up 1% of his total healing under good circumstances. He needs to make chain heal his primary heal, and by that I mean it should be anywhere between 80% to 95% of his total healing depending on fight conditions and group make up.
If he is stuck healing a main tank target for whatever reason he needs to use Healing Wave or Chain Heal, Lesser Healing Wave is just terrible and should almost never be used. Can't realy comment on anything else but that should provide better, more efficient healing for your freind's Kara raids.

well, it doesn't look like anyone was typically dying to enfeeble or infernals, so i'm going to assume placement/movement is ok. (there were a couple early deaths, but i'm going to focus on attempt 5, cause this looks like a guild doesn't quite have the gear to do this without 3 healers yet just )
Whoa. Like Silv said... hit cap, hello? there are people with TWENTY-FIVE spell hit. ... just... come on now. And enchants + gems + better talent choices will up their dps a TON. And that looks like the problem. Low dps drags the fight out, their healers run out of mana, and tanks go down.
As far as healing goes, Dabull pointed out CH is hax on phase 3 for axe dmg, though the shaman should probably be using GHWave the rest of the time since there isn't much raid wide dmg on Prince. Of course with the priests on GH, maybe that's why the shaman was on lesser. Either way, the priests are seeing a metric shit ton of over heal (66 and 55%) and need to interrupt better.

In addition to Shield Block - Commanding Shout, Demo Shout (which he has improved), and Thunderclap were up less than half the time.

Well, its hard to tell exactly what they are doing wrong just with wws, but i'll make the assumption that they are following a standard strategy.
After looking at his gear, the thing he needs to do more of is shield block. he took a lot of crushing blows. Also, using shield slam every time its up, as well as revenge and only devastating when neither of those moves can be used will help his threat gen. heroic strikes when extra rage are helpful. always keep TC up and never use rend. have him get comfortable with a rotation along the lines of SS, revenge, dev, dev. this should at least remove the tank as being problematic for the healers and dps.

I took a look at the DPS casters on Armory:
The mages are both frost, but neither is hit capped (like Silv mentioned). Frost is binary damage, which means it hits for full, or it's fully resisted. Being hit capped is really a must. It'd be better to go Arcane/Frost, pick up the Arcane +hit talent, and do Arcane Blast rotations until they can get their hit up. As a frost mage, you need ~10% hit rating with 3/3 Elemental Precision (because it's bugged). To be safe, the number to shoot for is 164 rating which is 13% and will cover their fire spells too.
The warlocks... yeah... destruction is not your friend in T4. Mathazar is on the right track with gear though. He's a tailor / enchanter, which will definitely buy you the most bang for your buck at that level. He's got enchants on all of his gear and he's crafted the Frozen Shadoweave set. Like the mages, they lack hit rating though. It's essential.
