So there is a site/program called DropBox.com and it is online storage. You can get a free account with 2GB of space. There is an app you install that makes a folder. Anything you put in there is sync’d online and can be shared with multiple PC’s or even your phone (iphone and android apps). Anyway, it is kinda cool, I’m testing it out at my brother’s recommendation. If you guys are interested here is a link that lets me refer you to DropBox. If you sign up then I get an extra .25GB and you will get .25GB as well. www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTc5MTY3MTc5

I've been using dropbox since the pre-beta times years ago. It's solid and has saved my butt more than once. You can send public links to people to files from it 'n everything. It's def worth using, i think everyone should use it. -so thumbs up!

hrm. I prolly should have said that I've used it a while instead of "since the pre-beta blah blah blah". I didn't mean for that to come out snobby or anything. sry 'bout that. :-P I should have shared it with the rest of y'all i guess. It is pretty handy though. I just wish they'd find a server-side solution, I like the cloud for somethings but not for everything (unless it's my own cloud). I've also used M$'s version that's a bit more robust (imo) www.foldershare.com/ I'm probably going to forego Dropbox once they get this fully integrated with the next version of Windows Home Server (Vail). Myphone.microsoft.com is similar, it syncs files from my phone, it's all part of M$'s Mesh platform. That way it syncs seamlessly into my Homegroup and I don't really have to worry about running third party software on my computers always in the network. I'm actually pretty stoked for Microsoft Mesh, but until i get the final release of the new Home Server, I'll stick with Dropbox.

I was going to call you on your snobbiness but then thought I'd be nice.

I like Sky Drive alot, and at 25gig it's made of win. Add in sdexplorer to make it just another windows drive and you have teh awesome.
However dropbox has an android app and sky drive still doesn't, so I'm signing up now.

yeah, that sucks. With bing being so successful, I would hope that they'll integrate their Live Sync with devices like Android and iPhone.. we'll see. Maybe they're holding onto that as a carrot for windows phone 7.
I didn't know about sdexplorer, that's pretty freaking awesome; thanks!
