SimCity for the iPhone. Though it's not a new game, it's still an awesome one, and looks great on the iPhone. I'm still totally amazed at how good the 3d gaming capabilities are on a such a small device that can already do a ton.

Anyone remember Syndicate/Syndicate Wars by Bullfrog? Way back in the 90ies.
Awesome game at the time. It had a device in it called the Persuadertron. You could you it to get a civilian to do your bidding. The bigger the group you gathered the more powerful targets to could persuade.
I think the iPhone is in reality a Persuadertron. Once enough of your friends have one you almost can't resist becoming one of the mob.
I've given up on getting the device I want. No one is going to release a truly open smart phone. So I thought about just keeping what I already have, a reliable phone with a good service plan. But then Gary and Wade at work get the ipod touch, and I think "I'll just keep my basic phone and get that". But then why not get an iPhone. Damnit!
I blame bl00k, he brought the Persuadertron into my life.

I'm pretty sure I've posted about this before, but if you want to sync your Google Contacts and Google calendar over the air with your iPhone's contacts and calendar, use Nuevasync. It is great. And they have just updated their service so that if you have multiple calendars in Google, it will separate them into different colored calendars on your phone. It's just like using a Microsoft Exchange server, but sync'ing with Google. I've been using Nuevasync for over a year now and have no complaints. Also, this works for any any phone that can connect to an Exchange server, not just the iPhone.

OH SNAP!!!!Take that Palm and G1! To be honest though, it makes me sad. I really love the interface for the iPhone and would like to see other phones be able to use it on their products too in hopes that something like the G1 could actually become something better. We all lose.

Hi, I'm the patent system. In an effort to encourage innovation I have allowed companies to patent obvious next steps in technology. This allows some companies who have done almost nothing to get huge windfalls of cash for merely being the first one to the patent office. Or in the case of this apple patent, allows a company to stifle competition and in turn hinder innovation.
You're welcome.

HOLY Crap! i Can't believe anyone believed that, let alone felt they had to go all 'debunking' .. yeesh Dude, I went to a party about a month ago, and some R-tard there was telling me how "you know cell phones are so powerful they can pop popcorn". I had just met this guy, but found myself talking very, very loudly as I explained all the ways in which he was an idiot.
