I heard that I don't have to use iTunes with it. I have all my music on my server at home but I do not want to install iTunes on my server. Someone (Titahn I think) told me you can use Windows Media Player for it, but when I went to the site to set it up it says iTunes or WinAmp. Is there a way to use WMP instead?

How to ruin the hype you built up with the iPod. Step 1: Believe your own hype. Step 2: Release the phone on a single network. Step 3: Install a kill switch to feed your ego and piss customers off. Step 4: Re-release the phone because you left out features that should have been there in the first place. Step 5: Block app's that compete with your own and steal there feature sets. {link}Step 6: Ignore your app dev's and watch them run to another competing open source project. Step 7:... Step 8: Profit(?)

I think Step 7 is underpants. We'd need add one more step after underpants. That would make it: Step 7: Underpants Step 8: Pants Step 9: Profit(?)

Simplify Media username: bl00k
Can anyone tell me if Simplify is compressing the songs? I don't want to hear "radio" quality when I can have my 320 bitrate mp3's on the ipod.

I sure this is already known, but NBC has their shows available for the iPhone now. You just go to nbc.com and can watch a lot of their TV shows on the phone as you pretend to work.

And if you're going to be watching shows, don't forget to make a little stand to hold the phone in place.

I get this feeling that the guy who made the iPhone stand has a 4,000$ HDTV he could be watching this stuff on.

So I ended up making two of these stands. They work really well! One holds my iPhone to watch the movies. The other holds a little mirror up in just the right place in my cube so I can see when people are sneaking up behind me.
