Worth seeing in the theater! I thought Will Smith did a great job, I had some issues with certain parts of the plot, but then again it was a movie! My father in law said the original book is a lot different but the movie hits the key points.

I have seen 3 movies in the last little while I liked all 3.. National Treasure 2 was not that bad.. I Am Legend was really good as well.. AVP Requiem was good as well but there were people who took 5 year old kids to it and I wanted to kick them really hard because it was not a kids movie...

National Treasure 2 got horrible reviews.
We just watched Knocked Up and Blood Diamond. Both were good in their respective ways. Blood Diamond was pretty brutal at times. Knocked Up was funny and had jokes and all of that, but overall it seemed a much more serious movie than I was expecting. It has lots of swears too.

The ending to I am Legend isn't at all what I expected. It ended on an almost happy note! that's not how it was supposed to end! lame.

Yeah and if all the infected peeps were able to get by the 'end of the world' explosions surrounding Big Willy's house then that stupid 20ft wall with some barbed wire isn't going to stop anyone from getting in and eating their faces! I liked the movie but the end was a let down.

The original book written in the 50’s had an odd ending as well! The virus mutates resulting in the infected humans losing aggression and giving them the ability to be in Sun light again. Which results in Robert Neville being humanely executed as he is now an outcast to the new human race.
The movie sort of captured the idea that the infected humans where evolving/mutating, the scene where Robert Neville falls for a trap and Samantha gets infected threw me off at first but after reading the book it made more sense.
The idea that it is to cold or whatever in Vermont is lame. Even if it was to cold for the virus, the infected super humans totally seemed able to jump that wall and eat away! Also how did that chick get into and out of New York didn’t they blow up the bridges?

maybe she flew the Blackbird. Anyway, I think this thread is completely off topic now. This was supposed to be a thread for movie suggestions and now it is filled with spoilers. Probably should have made an I Am Legend thread that said Spoilers Inside or something.

I am legend:
This movie was horrible. The original was much better, and the story was far more complex than this hollywood rendition of CRAP.
I was disapointed in the acting, I was disapointed in the dark walkers, and I was seriously disapointed in the stupid ass ending..
That said, the special effects were okay, not amazing, but okay...
Into the wild:
I took another person whom I will admit loves eddie veddar more than me, which is almost impossible. I was stunned.
Not only is the soundtrack simply stunning in terms of veddar, it fit the movie very well.
I loved the story, always have.. Loved the acting.. The hippies kicked but and I really really loved the old man who wants to be his grand dad.
Anyway.. I was left with a desire to watch it again, and I really loved it.
Hands down, one of the better movies I have seen, if not in the top 3 this year.
there you have it.

Once you are done watching Thrashin' be sure to check out Gleaming the Cube. Young Tony Hawk and the O.G. Bones Brigade. Some killer Rodney Mullen at the end too.
